Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-department together with Tourism Ministry, Cooperative and Small Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) Ministry, and several stakeholders hold coaching clinic to educate SMEs in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, about Micro-Community Business Credit (KUR) Program.
Cooperative and SMEs Ministry's Assistant Deputy for Loan Insurance and Capital Market, Ahmad Husein together with Tourism Ministry's Investment and Priority Tourist Destination Division Head, Nurwan Hadiyono are the member of KUR in Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs who are assigned to socialize KUR Program to SMEs thus tourism sector in Untung Jawa Island can be developed.
100 Entrepreneurs Get Tourism Business SocializationNurwan mentioned, there are 50 SMEs participated in this coaching clinic who run business related to tourism service, travel, home stay, bicycle rental, handicraft, culinary, and souvenir in Untung Jawa Island.
"We want to offer you a convenience in obtaining capital. Thousand Islands gets priority because it is included in the top 10 priority tourist destinations and in 88 National Tourism Strategic Areas (KSPN)," he said to the participants, Monday (4/29).
Meanwhile, Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-department Administration Head, Neneng Roaeni explained, SMEs who are participated in this coaching clinic is coached and managed by Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department.
"Hopefully, this socialization can help SMEs in Untung Jawa Island to get capital. Thus they can develop their business better," she conveyed.
